Seven Transition Year students, along with Mr. McDonagh and Ms. Clinton, travelled to Avallon, France last week as part of a European Science project called “European Science Camps; Changing Climate, Changing Habitats”.

High School the musical will take place on May 9th and 10th at St Josephs. Admission €10 and family tickets are €35. Door open at 7pm. Showtime 7.30pm.
The senior boys rugby team worked hard this year making it through to the quarter final of the Anne McInerney cup in Leinster. Although they were put out they had a great season and all was not lost.

Some of our art students have put great work into making Christmas cards this year. All proceeds are going to the Oncology Unit in the Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Homeless Aid, SVP Drogheda and the Drogheda Women’s & Children’s Refuge Centre.
Shane Lynch, a transition year student, has received the opportunity to go to Strasbourg for four days next year. He will visit the European Parliament and will take part in Euroscola, a youth parliament, and participate in discussions on a number of topicsabout the European Union.
Originally, we were meant to go to the Ploughing Championships on Wednesday the 19th of September. However, due to the weather conditions it was called off and we had to turn back after driving for 3 hours.
From the 10th - 12th of October we went on a trip to Achill Island just off the Mayo coast. We departed the school at 8:30 on Wednesday – with a 5 and half hour bus journey to Achill.
